Galentine's Day Baking Recipes

Two Februaries ago, I joined forces with Rachel from Bakerita and Cavin from Cavin Elizabeth Photography to create a fun Galentine’s inspiration shoot! It was bright, colorful, delicious, and so much fun - everything your Galentine’s Day should be.

If you missed our DIY Watercolor Dip Place Cards last week, they would be a super simple, festive addition to your Galentine’s Day party, so check those out here.

All of these recipes can be found on Bakerita - it’s been two years and I still dream about those Strawberry Brownie Bars!

For the invites, I was playing on the old paper dolls that we all used to make - these die cut hearts are connected so that they fold out into a long banner with all the deets for your gal pals. I distress gold-leafed the envelope liner to match the foil on the front of the invites as well as on the Recipe cards! Each gal was instructed to bring a recipe, so everyone took home a collection at the end.

…and of course, my favorite part was these sprinkle-filled place cards with each lady’s name in gold calligraphy. I am a sprinkle FIEND, and the best part is that these can be used in your baking at the party itself in addition to being adorable (I allllways love a good functional party favor).

Enjoy all the goodness and check out the recipes at Bakerita! Let us know what you’re doing for Galentine’s Day - are you following in Leslie Knope’s powerful and wacky footsteps? Tell us below!
